The jury is made up of five (05) eminent personalities drawn from the business and research world.

As far as possible, the jury will be guided by consensus and collegiality in selecting the winner. Whenever they find it necessary, members of the jury will decide, prior to the start of their meeting, on the voting method and their decisions will be final.

The jury will shortlist the five best candidates for each category. The five candidates will compete in the final phase.
The organising committee will summon the five shortlisted candidates to an interview in an African city and the two best candidates in each category will be selected and revealed.
